“Corona-dekking” nodig om Thailand binnen te komen

“Speciale verzekeringsverklaring inclusief dekking voor corona vereist”
Sinds 22 maart is er een speciale verzekeringsverklaring nodig om Thailand binnen te komen. Er dient verklaring te worden overhandigd waarin staat dat de reis/ziektekostenverzekering aan de volgende vereisten voldoet:
- a minimum medical coverage of US$ 100,000 in Thailand of COVID-19.

"All passengers including Thai nationals are required to fill up and present the Health Certificate and Health Insurance to the Quarantine Officers before proceeding to the Centralized Security Screening.
This is the latest requirement by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). To check-in, all foreign travellers are required to present the following documents:
- Health certificates certifying that the passenger ‘pose no risk of being infected by the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)’ issued no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel.
- Health Insurance / Health Insurance policy that shows minimum medical coverage of USD100,000 in Thailand and covers the COVID-19 Disease."
